What's New in the 2018 Titan and Titan XD at Our Winston Salem Nissan Dealer?

Because of the success of the revamped 2017 editions, the new 2018 Titan and Titan XD trucks don't see much that's new. In the regular Titan, a new King cab (extended) with a longer bed has been added to the trim level list, while the Titan XD comes with a standard rearview camera now. Also new to this lineup of trucks is the available Midnight Edition package, adding blacked-out exterior elements to give you a bold style with your hardworking truck.

Performance and Capabilities

Both the Titan and Titan XD start off with a strong 5.6-liter V-8 (390 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque) with RWD the standard drivetrain, while a 4x4 system is recommended for the most versatile set of capabilities. With the Titan XD, one of the most noticeable differences is the availability of a turbocharged 5.0-liter V-8, delivering 310 horsepower and 555 pound-feet of torque. In the right configuration, the Titan tows up to 9,700 pounds and hauls up to 1,620 pounds. The Titan XD, on the other hand, maxes out at 12,640 pounds of towing capability with a max 2,240-pound payload in the bed.

Interior and Exterior

Beyond the capabilities, the remaining differences between the Titan and the Titan XD fall to the cab and bed styles. The regular Titan comes as a crew cab with a short bed (5-foot-7-inches), a single cab with a long bed (8 feet) or an extended cab with a standard bed (about 6-and-a-half feet). The XD comes available with a crew cab with a 6.5-foot bed, a single cab with an 8-foot bed or the King Cab (extended cab) with a 6.5-foot bed.

Inside your cabin, whichever style you choose, you'll find smartly laid out features and amenities, and the extended cab setups allow for plenty of passenger and interior space. Overall, these new Nissan trucks you can find here in Winston Salem deliver when it comes to a subtle style that tells the world you're ready to get to work.

Safety and Technology

Like other Nissan models, the Titan and Titan XD are loaded with smart and easy to use tech features. Standard features like a rearview camera and Bluetooth start you off nicely, while moving up will add upgraded infotainment features like a touchscreen interface and much more. Also available at the higher trims of the new Titan and Titan XD are a series of driver aids like blind-spot monitoring, a trailer brake controller and tow mirrors.
